One of a kind handmade chef's knife.

This 8″ knife is made with Takefu Cu-Mai : DPS V-Toku2 Core Stainless Steel Clad San Mai and a beautiful Natural Turkish Walnut handle

Steel: 

I forged this 5mm Takefu Cu-Mai : DPS V-Toku2 Core Stainless Steel Clad San Mai with a hand-textured finish. The copper within the san-mai is exposed giving a redish tansition between the carbon core and the stainless clading. The hollow grind enhances food release and cutting performance. Both steels have been given a forced patina to start the aging process and help you develop your own unique patina over time.

This handmade chef’s knife is a big but super efficient, the Hollow gring makes it razor sharp and food will not stick to the blade . The traditional hidden-tang handle creates a slim, comfortable pinch grip while maintaining exceptional strength. Light and well balanced, the knife still carries solid thickness behind the heel, giving it the strength and confidence needed for tougher jobs.
