One of a kind handmade chef's knife.

This  190mm Bunka is made from  ApexUltra clad with Damascus Steel

Steel: 3.2 mm  ApexUltra core, a pure nickel diffusion barrier, and 30 layers of triple Damascus steel per side

convex grind for better food release. 

Handle: Purple Amboyna Burl

The knife has a reassuring weight and is precisely balanced at the pinch grip, providing excellent stability and control.
Its core is forged from ApexUltra, a high-performance steel that can be hardened to 65–67 HRC, delivering outstanding edge retention and wear resistance. The core is protected by a pure nickel diffusion barrier, which prevents carbon migration, and clad with 30 layers of triple Damascus steel on each side, enhancing both durability and aesthetics.
Because of its high carbon content, the blade requires attentive care—regular cleaning, thorough drying, and light oiling are essential to prevent corrosion and preserve long-term performance.
