This 8″ knife is made from a carbon steel core and Wrought iron cladding with a stunning piece of 5600 years old Bog Oak
Steel: 3 mm 80 CRV2 steel core and Wrought iron cladding with nickel San Mai. Convex grind for better food release. There is a forced patina on both type of steel for this knife which will help you build your own as you use the knife, The wrought iron cladding will be prone to rusting if not looked after properly. please follow the maintenance instructions
Handle: Japanese style construction. Stabilised 5600 Bog Oak.
